The TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of BANDAI SPIRITS, has officially announced the release of the latest addition to their ROBOT魂ver. ANIME series of robot-themed action figures , Messara, based on the anime Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, scheduled for release in August 2026.The PMX-000 Messala is a transformable Mobile Armor (MA) developed by Paptimas Sirocco, captain of the Earth Federation Forces' Jupiter transport ship Jubitlis . Equipped with high-output thrusters to operate in Jupiter's high-gravity environment, it possesses unparalleled mobility compared to other mobile suits. The machine also utilizes a high-strength movable frame structure, allowing it to transform from MA to MS mode in just 0.5 seconds. This machine is also the first in the history of the *Mobile Suit Gundam* anime series to feature a transformation scene.ROBOT Spirits Messara ver. ANIME is based on the refined and stylish design of the anime's concept art, boasting a massive 23cm height compared to other mobile suits in the series. The armor, power pipes, propulsion nozzles, and other parts are meticulously reproduced using molded paint or other coatings, exhibiting precise and detailed styling. The head camera features a movable mechanism, allowing for angle adjustments to suit different scenes.Thanks to the telescopic mechanism hidden inside the chest, the head-to-body ratio can be transformed from the original design to a more human-like animated body shape. Furthermore, the entire body features a wealth of articulation mechanisms, including pull-out shoulder joints, multi-axis waist joints, and a massive thruster on the back. The grappling hooks stored in the wrists also have individual articulation, allowing for natural kneeling poses and dynamic fighting stances from the anime.In terms of weaponry, the hilts of the two beam sabers stored in the wrists can be removed and fitted with beam effects, and they also come with hand-held wielders that are faithfully reproduced from the animation. The 9-tube missile pods hidden in the shoulders can be deployed, precisely reproducing the nine red missile parts. The MEGA particle cannon mounted in front of the large thrusters can be turned forward and fitted with firing effects.
